The problem

How it works
Profit Safeguards is a policy-driven auto-cut system. You define rules: “If a placement spends 2x payout with zero conversions, pause it.” The system monitors your Voluum data continuously and takes action when rules trigger.
But cutting is only half the problem. The other half is cutting too aggressively. That’s why the system includes statistical warmup guards — new placements get a configurable window before they’re eligible for cuts. And a 48-hour reactivation mechanism catches cases where conversions arrive late (delayed postbacks, network reporting lag).
Every action is logged. You see which rules triggered, on which placements, with what metrics. Over time, you tune your cut policy based on real data — not the gut feel that changes depending on who’s on call.
